Bluebird Escape sits high on the edge of the Wollondilly Valley near Canyonleigh — just under two hours from Sydney and Canberra, and a world away from both. This is not just a holiday house. It is a private estate: a collection of premium, architect-designed pavilions set in natural bushland, available exclusively to your group for your stay.

Perched on a small ridge above sandstone escarpments, gullies and open valleys, Bluebird Escape looks out over uninterrupted bush stretching to the horizon.

Over 110 acres of natural Australian bushland surrounds the estate — enormous eucalypts, acacias, banksias and native orchids. Wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, koalas and an extraordinary range of native birds are your neighbours. No others are.

Complete privacy. No neighbours in sight. No through-traffic. Just bush.

A main living pavilion anchors the estate with spectacular open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge with soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass and a large wood fireplace. Surrounded by decks, it is yours to soak up the sun or lie in the shade.

Around the main pavilion, premium bedroom pavilions offer king and queen beds, quality linen, ensuites and views of bush or valley.

The estate has recently been upgraded: two new premium pavilions, each with its own ensuite, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, and sweeping outlook, a private floodlit basketball and pickleball court, and a post-and-rail lined arrival drive.

Only two hours from Sydney and Canberra but entirely off-grid — solar, battery, tank water, and septic - engineered for comfort, not compromise.

Bluebird suits a romantic escape for two as naturally as it suits a gathering of old friends, an extended family reunion, or a few couples wanting a premium group stay without the usual compromises. Play pickleball or basketball on the private floodlit court. Walk the property at dusk. Cook a long dinner in a kitchen designed for it. Or simply do nothing — the valley view doesn't require any effort at all.

Bluebird has the answer with its new half-court basketball and professional sized pickleball court. Equipment supplied - just bring your sensible shoes.

Spring: Native orchids and wildflowers emerge across the property, birdsong picks up noticeably, and the days are warm without being hot. The bush in full voice.

Summer: Long days of full sun, warm eucalypt in the air, and a breeze through open pavilion doors. Late afternoon, the light turns deep and golden across the valley — worth stopping for.

Autumn: Perfect days — cool enough to move, warm enough to linger. Wallabies graze on the lawns at dusk as the light turns gold across the valley. The grass takes on the dry, honest colour of the Australian bush at rest.

Winter: Brisk mornings made for walking the property, fog in the valley, and long evenings by the fire with a glass of red. The cold here is crisp, not harsh.
